Exercising at home doesn’t need a lot of preparation. All you need to do is find some space that is free of distraction and some quality tunes.
Step 1: Clear a space – push your coffee table into the corner and roll up your rug – make sure there’s nothing you can trip over
Step 2: Where comfortable clothes and supportive shoes (I find Reebok trainers are best)
Step 3: Make sure the room isn’t too hot! Open the window if needed
Step 4: Have some water to hand
Step 5: Stick on some motivational music, then get moving.
Don’t forget to warm up and mobilise all your joints. Remember no distractions so turn off your mobile phone unless you’re using it as an interval timer.
